Great Minds Bright Futures named as Hispec Electrical Products Ltd, Global Charity Partner!
We are absolutely thrilled to be chosen to become the Global Charity Partner of local firm Hispec!
Our Founder Dave Armstrong, along with his colleague Lord Redesdale carried out Net Zero Strategic work for the Chorley based organisation, meeting with all the senior management team and were thrilled when Head of Compliance & Sustainability Kate Hughes announced this great partnership.
Hispec are a leading supplier of life safety and housing solutions and were named in the Sunday Times 2023 list of 100 fastest-growing private companies. They provide emergency lighting and fire detection systems for homeowners and business across the country.
Dave Armstrong commented “I am thrilled that Hispec have chosen Great Minds as their Global Charity Partner and I look forward to working with Kate and the team. After discussions, we have already decided that their first generous donation to the charity will go to support a feeding programme of 53 orphans based at the Dzaleka Refugee Camp, housing orphans from Rwanda, Barundi, Uganda and DRC Congo. Their donation and support will have a life changing impact on orphaned children who have no-one to turn to. On behalf of the children of Dzaleka Refugee Camp, I would like to say an almighty thank-you”.
Kate Hughes from Hispec commented “I am delighted to begin our partnership with Great Minds Bright Futures as Hispec’s Global Charity Partner. At Hispec, we believe in not only creating safer environments through our life safety and housing solutions but also extending that commitment to vulnerable communities. Supporting the life changing work being done at the Dzaleka Refugee Camp and beyond aligns perfectly with Hispecs’ values. We are honoured to contribute to their efforts and look forward to making a real difference in the lives of these incredible children.
Hispec are also keen to provide some safety lighting and fire detection equipment to Great Minds Bright Futures that can be used to keep newly orphaned children safe at night in our emergency accommodation block in Dowa, Malawi.
